Because hair growth occurs in a three-phase cycle, only follicles that are actively growing will be affected during a hair reduction treatment. This means that in order to effectively incapacitate all hair follicles multiple treatment sessions are required to ensure that all follicles are targeted during their natural growth phase.

What to Expect

The length of your treatment session will, of course, depend on the size and number of areas you are having treated. Most larger areas such as the legs will take about 15 minutes to complete. Each patient can have a different tolerance to the discomfort of a laser hair treatment. Some patients report no discomfort, but others may choose to discuss the option to apply a numbing cream prior to their session.
